Calasetta sorge sulla punta nord dell'isola di Sant'Antioco, nell'arcipelago del Sulcis. Fondata nel 1769 da famiglie liguri arrivate dall'isola tunisina di Tabarka, conserva ancora oggi le case bianche di calce, le persiane azzurre e il dialetto tabarchino. Founded in 1769 by Ligurian families who came from the Tunisian island of Tabarka, it still keeps its white lime-washed houses, blue shutters and the Tabarchino dialect.
